The girls have safely reached Singapore and was dismissed from school at about 8pm on 31May2012.
They checked out of the hotel at about 8.45am on Thursday to head back to Singapore. On the way back, they dropped by Melacca for an educational heritage tour.
After the tour, the girls went to Dataran Pahlawan for lunch and head back to Singapore after an enriching 4D3N Training Trip in Kuala Lumpur.
The Springfield Secondary Netball Team would like to thank the school for giving us this opportunity to train overseas, as well as meet netballers from the International Schools in Kuala Lumpur.
Our greatest thanks to the following people who have helped made this trip a successful one:
1) Mrs Ng and Mr Siva for their constant reminders and advices before and throughout our trip.
2) Mr Wong Ting Hsin and Mr James Wong for coming down to KL to look after the team as well as providing support whenever needed.
3) Mdm Yasmine for her help in the administrative processes.
4) All Springfield Secondary teachers who have allowed the girls to be excused from their classes during our trip.
5) The school guards for waiting for us to reach school on the last day of our trip.
6) The netball girls' parents for giving consent and providing them with support during the trip.
7) Anyone else who we have left out but has helped in one way or another to make this trip possible.
The girls will continue with their training sessions this June holiday and the dates are: 4June, 7June, 14June and 21June 2012 from 0800-1100.
